General-purpose cables
| Part Number | Purpose |
|---|---|
| CY-CBL-6P-EXT50 / EXT100 / EXT300 / EXT500 | Extension cable between the CI0/RIO and the camera; universal for all cameras. The number in the model name is the length in cm (EXT50 = 50 cm, EXT100 = 1 m, EXT300 = 3 m, EXT500 = 5 m) |
| CY-CBL-6P-FAN | Generic fan-out adapter for the CI0/RIO. Don't mix GND and shield: the shield is a slightly thicker black wire than the GND black wire. Signal names are from the controller side, so connect TX to the camera RX and vice versa |
| CY-CBL-6P-PFAN | Power and fan-out adapter for equipment with a 12V 5.5×2.1mm power jack (Marshall mini cameras, PTZ RS232/422 cameras, pan/tilt heads) |
| CY-CBL-6P-ST-15 / ST-50 | Adapter cable with straight mapping, suitable for the CY-RSBM module |
| CY-CBL-6P-PWR | Power cable for low-consumption devices such as a tally LED (see Building a CI0 Tally LED) |
| CY-CBL-DTAP | Cable for powering the CI0/RIO from a battery or camera via a D-Tap connector |
Manufacturer-specific cables
| Manufacturer | Part Number | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| AJA | CY-CBL-6P-AJA-01 | For the AJA RovoCam, controlled over RS232 at the back of the camera or at the RovoRx units |
| Astro Design | CY-CBL-ASTRO-01 | For the 8K camera |
| Bradley | CY-CBL-6P-BRADLEY-01 | Provides power and control to the Micro L pan/tilt head. A separate cable is needed for the camera (see Marshall and Dreamchip) |
| Canon | CY-CBL-6P-B4-01 | Default (if unsure, this is the one). For Canon B4 or Cine Servo lenses |
| Canon | CY-CBL-6P-CN-REM | Advanced robotic use |
| CIS | CY-CBL-6P-CIS-01 | For CIS cameras with an HR10A power connector and a TRRS audio socket for control (VCC-HD3, VCC-HD10ZM) |
| CIS / Camera Corps | CY-CBL-6P-CIS-02 | Provides power and control to CIS and Camera Corps mini cameras via an HR10A connector |
| DJI | CY-CBL-6P-SBUS-01 | The connector is hard to find; building your own with a 2.54mm pitch socket header and a CY-CBL-6P-FAN is recommended |
| Dreamchip | CY-CBL-DREAMCHIP-03 | Default. Provides power and control to all Dreamchip mini cameras (compatible with the older CY-CBL-DREAMCHIP-01, but only -03 is currently sold) |
| Dreamchip | CY-CBL-DREAMCHIP-02 | For SSM500 / Atom Two. RS485 control, used with the Dreamchip DCT-Powercable 350-00011v |
| Fujinon | CY-CBL-6P-FUJI-02 | Default (if unsure, this is the one). For all Fujinon lenses (B4 and Cabrio), used together with CY-CBL-6P-B4-01 (the older CY-CBL-6P-FUJI-01 was discontinued due to a lens bug when used with handles, which requires a lens firmware upgrade) |
| Fujinon | CY-CBL-6P-FUJI-03 | Advanced robotic use. The camera keeps iris control (directly connected to the camera), while the CI0/RIO controls zoom/focus. Iris/zoom/focus values are available on the RCP |
| Ikegami | - | The connector is pricey and hard to find, so building your own is recommended: a CY-CBL-6P-FAN plus a Tajimi 8-pin male plug (PRC05-PB8M), providing power and control via the 8-pin remote interface (see the pin assignment table on the official page) |
| IOI | CY-CBL-6P-IOI-01 | Provides power and control to all IO Industries cameras |
| LANC | CY-CBL-6P-LANC-03 | Current model. For LANC-controlled cameras or the Canon Remote-A port (Sony, JVC, all Canon camcorders and cameras, Blackmagic LANC interface). The older -01 (Canon Remote-A) and -02 (Sony LANC, with pass-through for a zoom/focus handle) are discontinued |
| Marshall | CY-CBL-6P-MARS-02 | Current model. Provides power and control to newer Marshall mini cameras with a 12-pin Hirose connector (compatible with the older CY-CBL-6P-MARS-01, but only -02 is currently sold) |
| Marshall | CY-CBL-6P-PFAN | For older Marshall mini cameras with a DC power jack and a 2-position RS485 terminal block |
| Panasonic | CY-CBL-6P-PAN-10P | For older Panasonic P2 cameras |
| Sony | CY-CBL-SONY-8P-03 | For the Sony legacy 8-pin remote interface with power (professional cameras and camcorders). Compatible with earlier revisions (CY-CBL-6P-SONY-8-01 / -02), but only -03 is currently sold. The cable ordered as CY-CBL-SONY-8P-03 is labelled "CY-CBL-6P-SONY-8-03" |
| Tilta | CY-CBL-TILTA-SERIAL | Default (if unsure, this is the one). Lockable, works with the CI0/RIO, and provides power and control (references on this site mean CY-CBL-TILTA-SERIAL-01) |
| Tilta | CY-CBL-TILTA-USB | Connects the RIO (USB) to Tilta motors (LEMO). Needs an external power supply |
| Toshiba | CY-CBL-6P-TOSHIBA-01 | For Toshiba cameras and any RS232 device |
| VISCA | CY-CBL-6P-PFAN + 4/5/9-pin (3.5mm pitch) Phoenix connector | Build a powered cable for VISCA cameras using RS422 by combining the two |
Wiring diagrams for each cable are available on Cyanview's official cable catalog page.
